Join Rise and Gateway as we come together for a night of worship this Friday at 7pm. Worship teams from both churches will lead us as we worship side-by-side, proclaim the Word together, pray for each other, remember peace in the chaos, hold onto the promises of our great God, and remember our immeasurable worth in Christ. All are welcome!

***CHILDCARE FOR THIS EVENT IS FULL***
Child Dedication is a commitment of parents to raise their child in a way that honors God. During the Child Dedication time, parents are provided the opportunity to make a public declaration to raise their children in a Christ-centered home, and lead their kids to know and believe the gospel. The church community is a part of this celebration and is asked to commit to support and partner with these parents in their calling.
Child dedication is not a statement of salvation for a child, but rather a statement of how the parents will raise their child. While not a command in Scripture, child-parent dedication is a beautiful symbol of a parent’s desire to obediently raise their child in the knowledge and instruction of the Lord.
THE FOLLOWING PROCESS MUST BE FOLLOWED FOR YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN A CHILD DEDICATION WEEKEND:
Step 1: Call the church office and express your interest in child dedication.
In order for parents to have full understanding and context regarding the important role they play within Child Dedication, parents are required to have a conversation with a leader.
Step 2: Be invited to an available Child Dedication service.
We only do child dedications 2-3 times per year. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If the date or service time does not work for your family, you have the option to stay on the list and be contacted for the next dedication weekend.
Step 3: Participate in the child dedication during a weekend church service.
We only schedule dedications during one of the three weekend services.
The dedications take place near the beginning of the church service.
Parents are invited into a public commitment reflecting how they desire to raise their child in the Lord.
The congregation is invited into a commitment to support and care for the families.
Families will be blessed and prayed for by a pastor or elder of Rise Church.
