Do The Opposite

There’s a simple phrase that everyone needs to know.

Do the opposite.

Whenever you’re tempted to do something you know you shouldn’t, do the opposite.

Whenever the devil suggests something to you, do the opposite.

When tempted to whine and complain, tell God something you appreciate out loud.

When you start to feel sorry for yourself because nobody encourages you, send someone else the most encouraging text you can possibly write. Immediately.

When you feel like doing something ugly, go immerse yourself in something pure and beautiful.

When you feel overwhelmed because you’re so busy in life, STOP. Just stop. Pray and rest until you’re recharged and ready to go again. Use this quiet moment to remind yourself that God is not a drama queen like you, and the world is in His hands, not yours.

These examples could go on forever, but now it’s time for you to apply it.

What are you being tempted to do today?

Do the opposite. Right now.
